When it comes to the price, it all depends on what you want ...

I price my work on a range from $10 - $500. It is based on what you want.

Portraiure

You can get a quick pencil scketch on cheap printer paper for 5-$10, or you can a Mural Sized oil painting for about $200.
 
$10 - Quick scketch on regular, letter size paper, & looks ok.  
$20 - A decent drawing you would love on the wall.
$30 - Is more details (obviously looks better). It can say more about your personality than the other two.
Then we have the PORTRAITS for $50 and up.  They are a lot larger and high qualtiy. Those come however you want them (background, clothes, etc.).  
I also do caricatures (portraiture cartoon style/ might end up big-headed) from $10 to $30. Tell me if you want to know more about them
