I will just leave this self-portrait up for now. Its the only one I like at the moment. I plan to do a couple more. This is actually the first drawing bothered to work on for more than two days. I spent more time on it than I usually would.

This is just an intentionally unfinished figure drawing from my sketch book. It is just a study really. Though it is very simple, I like it because it is a perfect example of my most prefered aproach to figure drawing. I like to draw a good siloutte and then go in and render the detail.

This is a recent modifcation of an old character of mine I always drew back in the 7th grade. He was designed when I was experimenting with a few drawing elements. I wanted to work on my shading, to make it look as good as a computer's 3-D rendering. It should look as though it was done on a CAD program. I was also trying to emphasis the character's muscualr structure not nesessarily in a realistic way, but just to make it look like the character could be quick and powerful. I came up with the head accidentally. I did so by trying to to break down the head into common 3-dimentional shapes. He was origanlly suposted to be the bad guy/ antagonist in a comic book series/ cartoon I was planning. But, he just so happen to be the most apealing character I came up with so far. So I am trying to come up with better story for him, unless I can top him with some better ones( probablly will when i get back into it). I plan to put some more up.

I still like this painting. It is among my favorites, and it is actaully the first painting I did of a face. It is actually from an add in a magazine. I treasure the painting because I like its drawing, and structure. even though I did some adjustments to the image that does not show all painting flaws the actual peice has. I played around, with the acrylic, and I was very surprised at the fished peice that came out a lot better than I thought it would.
